Wheel of Health follows current United Kingdom public health guidance on respiratory infections, including COVID-19, influenza and similar seasonal illnesses. People who have symptoms of a respiratory infection and feel unwell or have a high temperature are advised to try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they no longer feel unwell or no longer have a high temperature.
Where visits, assessments, reviews, or meetings need to proceed, reasonable infection prevention measures may still be used depending on the circumstances, the health of the individual being seen, and the wider clinical or care context. This may include hand hygiene, ventilation, rescheduling where appropriate, or other proportionate precautions.
Because national advice and seasonal risk can change, please contact Wheel of Health directly if you need confirmation of the most appropriate arrangements before a visit or appointment takes place.
We are committed to protecting privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and other applicable United Kingdom data protection and privacy rules.
